The Luqman Institute addresses a wide range of social, religious and political challenges affecting Muslim communities in the United Kingdom and engages the wider society and institutions in finding solutions to common concerns.
The Institute encourages Muslim communities to participate in all areas of civic life as British citizens. It also addresses the cultural, ideological and possible religious causes of abstention.
The Institute aims to educate young Muslims to address the perceived gap between Islamic identity and British citizenship through scripture and reasoning.
We work with a variety of British Institutions, Muslim Clerics, and leaders of other faiths, education institutions, Muslim youths and many others.
The Institute engages in educational seminars, explorative discussions, youth workshops, research on likely causes of social conflict, interfaith dialogue and international peace and reconciliation efforts.
